Define Sin
Define sin! Are some sins worst than others? What sins will keep a person from receiving God's grace? Which sins should keep a person out of church membership?

Sin is anything outside of the will of God as you said in a sermon recently. We can know God's will according to Romans 12:2.
A little boy came home one day from church and his father, who hadn't attended the service, asked his son what the preacher preached about. The little boy looked at his father and said, "the preacher preached on sin today daddy." His interest raised the father asked his son what the preacher had to say about sin. The little boy thought long and hard to remember the preacher's words. Finally the young lad looked up and said, "he's against it dad."
Too many preachers and parishioners alike are not against sin these days. Too many want to explain sin away and suggest that we can even live with and in sin and God will be ok with it. Some even want to call sinful choices and lifestyles acceptable today. Sin is going against God’s will and God’s will is seen when we remove the world’s control over our minds and renew them in God. Romans 12:2
MZ is a compassionate evangelical church in South Anne Arundel County. We believe the Bible is the Word of God and try to live our lives following God's teaching found in and through it.
